Dionisio is a visual artist, photographer, and audiovisual filmmaker of Potiguara descent, born in Rio de Janeiro. Her research moves between documentary photography and non-fiction filmmaking, investigating memory, territory, ancestry, and Indigenous presence in urban contexts. She began her journey in photography in 2018, documenting social demonstrations, and since then has developed personal projects focused on building visual archives about Indigenous cultures and histories. In 2026, she directed and photographed the short film Maria da Mata, produced as part of the Uniperiferias project with support from RioFilme. Currently, she is developing research in analog photography and Indigenous Cinema, articulating image, memory, and processes of permanence.
