Maria Clara Escobar is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, casting director, and poet. Her films, including Os Dias com Ele, Desterro, Explode São Paulo, Gil, and Dolores, have been screened and awarded at festivals such as Rotterdam, San Sebastián, DocLisboa, and Rio. She also directed the series Paloma and has worked as a screenwriter and casting director on prominent Latin American film projects.
