Em uma tentativa frustrada de reconstruir a vida de sua mãe, Silvia, sua filha tenta dar sentido a uma história mergulhada em violência e negação, experimentando com as imagens borradas de seus pais e as memórias inconsistentes de suas irmãs. O filme explora as divergências que surgem na reconstrução da memória de Silvia. É um retrato do vínculo entre uma mãe e suas filhas, e das palavras não ditas que encontram novos significados para além da dor.
In a failed attempt to reconstruct her mother Silvia’s life, her daughter tries to make sense of a story steeped in violence and denial, experimenting with the blurred images of her parents and the inconsistent memories of her sisters. The film explores the divergences that arise in the reconstruction of Silvia’s memory. It is a portrait of the bond between a mother and her daughters, and of the unspoken words that find new meanings beyond the pain.

María Silvia Esteve é ​​uma diretora e produtora argentina, fundadora da HANA Films. Seus filmes Silvia, Criatura e A Espiral foram selecionados e premiados em festivais como IDFA, Locarno e Cannes. Seu próximo longa-metragem, Mailin, estreará na Competição Internacional do IDFA 2025. Em 2025, ela foi selecionada como Talento da Berlinale e atualmente está desenvolvendo seu novo projeto, Fauces.
María Silvia Esteve is an Argentine director and producer, and founder of HANA Films. Her films Silvia, Criatura, and The Spiral have been selected and awarded at festivals such as IDFA, Locarno, and Cannes.
